Plant Based Dinners with Sophistication: Traveling Back in Time

In Plymouth, NH

Wendy's earliest memories are of a slow simmering spaghetti sauce made by her Italian mom. In a tribute to her mom, Wendy will l take you back to her childhood with an Italian plant based meal.

You will begin your evening with appetizers and mingling. We move to tables where you will begin with a mushroom cake served on a bed of greens.

As you begin the next phase of your meal, our guest, Emma Van Ness will share with you her time in Italy and teach each of us how to speak a few words and phrases in Italian.

Your Meal: Plant based appetizers, mushroom cake served on a bed of greens, citrus salad, bolognaise sauce over home made pasta and a dessert of tiramisu.

Cost: $70/person
Space is limited to 14 people.

During the winter months we lean into savory, warming to our soul, nutritional meals. Pasta is wonderful vessel for a variety of sauces.

Join Wendy Hills of Roots & Roses as you prepare and create easy plant-based sauces using minimal ingredients. Sauces to include a plant-based alfredo sauce and a caramelized onion sauce. Gluten free and regular pasta options for participant consumption.

There are many reasons people are going plant-based nowadays - your health, the animals, the environment, etc. Whatever your motivation I want to give you a starting off point and share some things that helped me or that I wish I knew when I began my journey.

We will cover: How to begin eating plant forward, Starting Slow, Plant Based Starter Meals.

In class we will prepare two to three pantry meals.
