Wendy Hills of Roots & Roses and Shelley Snodgrass Robinson of Entwined Yoga

This retreat invites participants to pause, breathe, gather, and prepare for the season ahead—with food, movement, reflection, and connection.

Autumn invites us to slow down.

The days become shorter. The harvest comes in. We begin to crave warmth, comfort, and a little more time at home.

This retreat is an invitation to honor that shift—not by adding more to your to-do list, but by creating space to care for yourself.

Together, we'll explore simple ways to nourish your body, mind, kitchen, and spirit as we move into the quieter months.

A Season for Turning Inward

ROOT

Ground. Breathe. Restore.

Begin with gentle, restorative yoga designed to help you slow down and reconnect with yourself.

We'll create space to release tension, settle the nervous system, and notice what you need as the seasons change.

Come as you are. Leave feeling grounded.

GATHER

Connect. Prepare. Share.

There's something special about gathering around a table.

We'll spend time together exploring seasonal ingredients, simple pantry staples, and ways to make nourishing meals feel easy throughout the fall and winter.

And, of course, there will be plenty of time for conversation, laughter, and connection.

Gather with us around food, friendship, and the changing season.

NOURISH

Eat well. Feel well. Sustain yourself.

Enjoy a delicious, seasonal whole-food plant-based meal created to celebrate the flavors of fall.

Think warming spices, hearty grains and legumes, colorful vegetables, squash, greens, apples, and other foods that make this season so comforting.

You'll leave with inspiration and practical ideas for bringing more simple, nourishing meals into your own kitchen.

Food that nourishes you now—and supports you through the season ahead.

A Day to Prepare for the Season Ahead

You don't need another day packed with things to accomplish.

You might simply need a day to pause.

To breathe deeply.
To move gently.
To eat nourishing food.
To learn something new.
To gather with good people.
To listen inward.

Root. Gather. Nourish.

A day to prepare your pantry, your meals, your body, and your mind for the season ahead.

About Wendy

Made From Scratch & Fresh To Order Whole Food Plant-Based Food: Catering, Personal Chef & Cooking Classes, in Plymouth, New Hampshire

Wendy has loved being in nature from a young age—walking in the woods, exploring fields, and tending her garden. Growing vegetables from seed and harvesting them fresh sparked her deep appreciation for whole, natural foods and inspired her path toward a plant-based lifestyle.

Through Roots & Roses, Wendy creates simple, nourishing, and delicious whole food plant-based meals using fresh, locally sourced ingredients from nearby farmers. Her mission is to make healthy eating approachable while supporting local farmers and helping people enjoy the abundance, flavor, and vitality that plant-powered ingredients bring for both personal well-being and a healthier planet.

About Shelley

Yoga has been a part of Shelley Snodgrass Robinson’s life for many years, but it truly became a lifelong practice in 2011 when she committed to vinyasa classes and discovered how deeply grounding it could be. For Shelley of Entwined Yoga, yoga provides balance, awareness, and a blend of challenge and contemplation that supports her both physically and emotionally.

She completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training in 2016 through Boston Yoga School, along with additional Yin Yoga and mindfulness trainings. These teachings continue to shape her approach on and off the mat.

As a yoga teacher, Shelley’s intention is to hold space where students can explore balance, move with purpose, and honor their own intentions through both movement and stillness.
