Breakfast Options

$16 per person

  • Carrot cake baked oatmeal with blueberry compote.

  • Plant-based quiche: made with tofu, chickpea flour and filled with veggies served with a side of fruit.

  • Breakfast burrito: Roasted veggies combined with a tofu scramble and wrapped in a whole grain tortilla shell. Served with salsa.

  • Herbed Breakfast Hash: Seasoned with fragrant garlic, smoky chili powder, and lots of fresh herbs, this recipe is a  hearty and healthy way to start your day.

  • Overnight oats served with a blueberry chia topping.

  • Homemade gluten free granola with fresh fruit

  • Whipped “ricotta” toast with fruit spread. Served with sourdough bread

Lighter Options

$18 per person

  • Layered taco salad (GF): Featuring a hearty plant-based taco meat made from TVP (Textured Vegetable Protein) and a colorful array of vegetables, it's a sure crowd pleaser.

  • Curry Chickpea layered salad (GF):Craving a wholesome dish that is visually striking? Tastes delicious? Say hello to this Curry Chickpea Layered Salad –a balance of textures and tastes that take your taste buds on an adventure!

  • Thai Mango Salad (GF)

    • Farm fresh greens topped with bell pepper, carrots a mango salsa (red onion, cilantro, garlic, lime juice), chopped peanuts and served with a peanut dressing. (Peanut dressing can be substituted with cashews)

  • Wraps or sandwiches: served with pickles-GF wrap available

    • Rainbow wraps: a mixture of colorful veggies, lemon hummus and pickled onions

    • Chickpea un-tuna served with lettuce and tomatoes

    • “Egg” salad sandwich served with lettuce and tomatoes

Desserts: Per Package $20

  • Macaroons: A Roots & Roses house special (GF)-6 cookies

  • Salted Chocolate Chip Pecan-tahini cookies (GF)-10 small cookies

  • Fudge brownies (GF)-6 brownies

  • Lemon Ginger bars with shortbread crust (GF)

  • Date Bark: Medjool dates, cashew butter, walnuts and a drizzle of chocolate make this the perfect snack any time of day.

  • Fig Newtons (GF): These cookies are to die for! Filled with a homemade fig jam and enveloped in a cookie made from almond flour.

  • Thumbprint cookies filled with blueberry coulis

Hearty Options

$25 per person

  • Moroccan Millet Bowl: Fluffy millet infused with garlic, parsley, and lemon creates a bright, fragrant base. It’s topped with steamed broccoli, crispy Moroccan-spiced chickpeas, and a creamy chermoula sauce made with tahini, cilantro, and warm spices. A sprinkle of dukkah and red pepper flakes adds crunch and a hint of heat—making this bowl a tasty, globally inspired way to use up leftover herbs.

  • Three bean chili served with avocado, tortilla chips, cilantro lime drizzle

  • Caesar Salad Plant-based style: an amazing caesar dressing (nut free) is served with romaine lettuce, croutons, carrots, and tofu marinated in oil free sesame dressing

  • Spicy, Crunchy Kale Salad with Preserved Lemon Vinaigrette topped with Butter Beans, carrots, red pepper and quinoa.

  • Roasted vegetable bowl served with a Green Goddess Dressing: Roasted seasonal vegetables served over spinach, quinoa and oven roasted chickpeas served with a vibrant green herby dressing

  • Sweet potatoes topped with roasted chickpeas, broccoli and a miso ginger sauce

  • African Stew served over basmati rice: This dish is hearty any time of the year. A blend of onions, garlic, tomatoes and spices simmer to perfection before we add chickpeas and spinach.

  • Roasted Cauliflower with Balsamic Black Lentils and Lemony Tahini: The cauliflower is the star of this show with its meaty texture, and it is accompanied by protein packed lentils and a sauce that is to die for. Served over basmati rice.

  • Grain free pasta with Lentil Bolognese Sauce: Meatless bolognese is just as hearty as the real deal but packed full of veggies and plant protein. The sauce is slow simmered giving the flavors plenty of time to meld together. Served with your choice of chickpea pasta, lentil pasta or brown rice pasta. (You will cook the pasta as it is best served hot out of the pan).
